Criteria used for judging includes creativity, visual appeal, and taste. Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by the Kansas Chocolate Festival.
Kansas Chocolate Festival Bake-Off Rules:

Registration form must be submitted online by 5 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024. A separate form is needed for each entry. (Total number of entries per-person is limited to two per person).

All entries must contain chocolate. (Dark, milk, white, any chocolate will do.)

You must bring six full-size pieces for judging and 36 (three dozen) bite-sized samples. This means six whole cookies, six whole cupcakes, one whole cake that we will then cut into six, etc. The three dozen bite-sized samples will be used to allow the general public to sample.

Entry must be in a disposable container with entrant’s name and phone number taped to bottom. (Containers will not be returned.)

Items must be brought to West Ridge Mall (Former Burlington Space-upper level) - 1801 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66604 between 8:30AM and 9:30AM (late arrivals will not be accepted).

Winners will be announced at the Chocolate Festival on Saturday, November 2 at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The top three winners will receive a certificate, recognition at the event, a cash prize, and the right to use the Kansas Chocolate Festival logo for one year.
